The special wide angle blade of this Kutrimmer 1080 cuts heavy-duty material, such as matteboard, plastic, and metal foil. The trimmer can hold up to 20 sheets of paper (variations may occur due to differences in paper weight & quality). The cutting blade rides on a solid cast aluminum mounting bracket with double pivot bearings for the blade axle. Precision side guides are measured in both inches and centimeters. The new fold-down extension table provides more space as well as support for heavy or large format materials. The handy foot pedal allows for positive clamping, a nice even clamping that maintains the position of your paper stock while you make your cut.
Both the front and back gauge are easily adjustable. The front gauge, equipped with an adjustment scale, uses a calibrated button located on the front of the trimmer to reposition and lock the gauge at every position. This is a large format floor model trimmer, all-metal constructed, equipped with German manufactured Solingen steel blade set.
