The Triumph 5550 EP paper cutter is one of Ideal’s programmable Hydraulic paper cutter. The enhanced capabilities of this cutter include a hydraulic blade with precision swing-cut blade movement and adjustable hydraulic clamp drive. This hydraulic clamp tightly holds the paper stock along the entire cutting width of 21-5/8 inches and is fully adjustable between 1,900 and 3,800 psi. The HSS Solingen steel blades allow for a faster and smoother cut.
The false clamp, which cushions your paper stock as it clamps, ensures that no indentations on your paper stock will be made. The foot-pedal permits the pre-clamping feature, in which you yourself control the clamping, rather than relying on the hydraulic power clamping drive. There is also an electric spindle-guided back gauge, and electronic hand wheel to vary the speed for manual back gauge repositioning. This high storage capacity paper cutter is able to hold and display 99 programs, with 99 steps per program, and allows up to 9 repeat cuts to be integrated into any program. The back gauge control unit stores frequently used measurements, as well as references any measurement with the “set” function. Also, the control unit displays digital measurements in both centimeters and inches, features a repeat cut and eject function, and has a self-diagnostic tool, indicating any cutter error.
