MBM’s hydraulic paper cutter offers a more sophisticated back gauge control module and programming capability. Like many of the more advanced paper cutters, the Triumph 721-06 LT has a high storage capacity, programmable back gauge control module with a 10 button keypad and LED display that stores up to 99 programs (99 steps per program, repeat cut function). With this control unit is also equipped with new memory functions, delete and insert mode to modify any program, and an incorporated calculator. The “set” key allows the user to reference any measurement, as well as program frequently used measurements. Another new feature of the Triumph 721-06 LT is the automatic measuring correction tool, which will correct the back gauge measurements should they ever become displaced. If a problem occurs in the system, the self-diagnostic tool will display an error warning on the control unit to the operator.

This MBM Triumph paper cutter will provide the user with a manageable way to position their paper stock. The new air jets located on the front and rear tables allow for smooth movement of the paper on the back gauge. With the push of two buttons, the electric back gauge can be quickly moved either forward or backward with ease. Moreover, the Triumph 721-06 LT offers a spindle-guided back gauge, with narrow separations, plastic gliders, and electronic hand wheel for manual speed variation.

The hydraulic clamp pressure on this Triumph paper cutter is fully adjustable between 550 and 4,400 psi. A false clamp is provided to cushion the paper stock and ensure that the paper remains damage free. The foot-pedal allows for pre-clamping, in case the user wishes to manually clamp their paper stock. The HSS Solingen steel blades permit the swift precision swing-cut blade movement, making an accurate cut to 1/10 mm or 1/100 in.
