VRCut Ready Technology is a PC Software solution created to work with MBM Triumph Paper Cutters. It is an advanced system that uses a virtual reality interface, which is a platform that enables users to experience a computer-generated environment that simulates cutting paper in the real world. The virtual reality interface guides them through the setup and cutting process. Since the software lets them visualize the cuts they will make, it reduces the likelihood of errors.
VRCut Ready Technology automates the cutting process by interfacing with digital files. This means that users can interact with digital files (like PDF files) stored on computers or other digital devices. They can view, edit, manipulate, transfer, or manage the files. Interfacing digital files guarantees that cuts are executed exactly how they are in the digital layout. It minimizes manual intervention and enhances accuracy.
The VRCut Ready Software consists of 2 independent modules that work together: the VRCut Impose and VRCut PC Controller. The VRCut Impose Module produces PDF documents formatted especially to work with the VRCut PC Controller Module. It optimizes the layout of print jobs before cutting. The Controller Module instantly connects to the Triumph Paper Cutter. It moves the back gauge, and directs the operators of the machine through the cutting sequence.
How the VRCut Impose Module Works
The name “Impose Module” comes from the term “Imposition Software.” This type of software is used in the printing and publishing industries to arrange pages or images on a print sheet so that, after the sheet is printed, folded, and cut, and the pages appear in the correct order.
The Impose Module allows users to convert their artwork or papers into PDF files. It can position multiple pages or items into a single sheet of paper. After the PDFs are generated, they have to be laid out so they are ready for printing as well as streamlined cutting with the VRCut Ready Triumph Paper Cutter you are using.
The software places a template barcode and visual markers on the PDFs that activates an automated cutting process. Also, there is an option to combine multiple workflows into a single, unified workflow by utilizing the software’s data merge feature.

The VRCut Impose Module has advanced features such as automatic imposition, custom templates, interactive preview, and batch processing. The automatic imposition element can instantly calculate and develop the most efficient layout for a given print job, which diminishes the need for making manual adjustments to the paper cutter.
In addition, users can assemble and save custom imposition templates, which are predefined layouts that can be used for repeat print jobs. Templates can be adjusted or modified depending on the project’s needs, and can accommodate different print sizes, orientations, and quantities. Furthermore, templates can be designed for booklets, brochures, business cards, posters, and more.
Finally, the VRCut Impose Module gives an interactive preview of the layout. Operators can make adjustments and check the setup before printing and cutting. The module can also perform batch processing of multiple print jobs. This saves time on printing setup and boosts efficiency.
How the VRCut PC Controller Module Works
Once the layout is finalized in the VRCut Impose Module, it is sent to the printer connected to your PC as well as one of these MBM Triumph Paper Cutters: the MBM Triumph 5560 Automatic 21” Paper Cutter, MBM Triumph 6660 Automatic 25.5” Paper Cutter, and MBM Triumph 7260 Automatic 28” Paper Cutter.
After the document is printed, all the user has to do is scan the document barcode in order to load the corresponding template and artwork to begin the cutting job. The VRCut PC Controller Module indicates how the paper is oriented, how paper is rotated between cuts, when to throw out scraps, and how to process cut sheets. It is meant to be used by operators with all levels of knowledge, so that everyone can professionally cut paper easily.

Our MBM Triumph Paper Cutters that utilize VRCut Ready Technology
The MBM Triumph 5560 Automatic 21” Paper Cutter (VRCut Ready)
Our MBM Triumph 5560 Automatic 21” Paper Cutter comes with VRCut Ready Technology, and cuts paper up to 21” in length and 3-5/8” in height. It is an automatic paper cutter, which means it is designed to cut large volumes of paper with minimal human intervention. It has top-of-the-line features that automate the cutting process. For example, it has a hydraulic blade that is powered and controlled by a hydraulic system.
The hydraulic system utilizes a pump to pressurize hydraulic fluid. This moves pistons or actuators to control the movement of the cutting blade. Because the hydraulic system supplies a strong cutting force, the hydraulic blade can effortlessly slice through thick stacks of paper with precision. As it cuts the paper, a clamp drive automatically holds the paper securely in place. This leads to error-free cuts since the clamp drive makes sure the paper does not shift while being cut. The clamping pressure is fully adjustable between 1,900 and 3,800 psi.
Not only is the cutting accurate due to the hydraulic blade and clamp, but it is also very simple because of its two “Easy Cut” Blade Activation Bars. These activation bars are user-friendly and safe, and the operator has to use both of their hands to move the cutting blade. Both activation bars need to be pressed at the same time to engage the blade. This “two-handed” operation reduces the chance of getting injuries since the user’s hands are away from the cutting area. This prevents accidental blade activation, and allows this hydraulic paper cutter to achieve a controlled cutting action.
The MBM Triumph 6660 Automatic 25.5” Paper Cutter (VRCut Ready)
Our MBM Triumph 6660 Automatic 25.5” Paper Cutter comes with VRCut Ready Technology, and can cut documents up to 25-1/2” in length and 3” in height, and execute a narrow cut just under 1”. This electric paper cutter has a Safety Cutting System (SCS) that consists of a safety cover on the rear table and a safety lock with a key and main switch. The blade can be changed from the front of the machine without removing the safety cover.
What is convenient about this machine is that it has a safe blade changing device that minimizes direct contact with the blade. The blade changing device covers the cutting edge of the blade, and the blade depth can be adjusted from outside of the cutter. These safety features lower the risk of accidents, and protects the user from being cut by the sharp blade.
The MBM Triumph 6660 has a user-friendly touchpad that has multilingual functions and a huge storage capacity. It has the ability to store up to 99 programs, and each program can have up to 99 steps. Moreover, it can store repeat and frequent cuts. The touchpad enables operators to instantly position the back gauge, which is a component that positions the paper stacks to ensure accurate cuts. As you store multiple cutting programs, the back gauge automatically moves to preset positions for different cutting tasks.
However, the back gauge can be manually adjusted by turning the paper cutter’s electronic hand wheel. The electronic hand wheel allows users to make fine-tuned adjustments to the back gauge. Small modifications can also be made when aligning their paper stack. This makes it easy for them to attain their desired cut dimensions with little trial and error.
The MBM Triumph 7260 Automatic 28” Paper Cutter (VRCut Ready)
Our MBM Triumph 7260 Automatic 28” Paper Cutter comes with VRCut Ready Technology, and is a guillotine paper cutter. It can cut up to 28” in length, and 3” in height, and can perform a narrow cut of 3/4”. The product has an IR (Infrared) Safety Curtain which is a feature that improves operator safety. The curtain is made up of infrared sensors placed on the front table in the working area. When a user’s hands or objects penetrate the IR Safety Curtain, the paper cutter will halt its operation. By stopping the cutting action, accidents are avoided and there is less of a chance of injuries.
The machine has an LED optical cutting line, which is a bright line of light that shines on the paper stack where the blade will cut. The LED optical cutting line is a visual guide for the user, and assists them in aligning the paper correctly before cutting. It is useful in settings like print shops or professional finishing environments, since they perform tasks that demand exact and consistent cuts. The MBM Triumph 7260 is equipped with a tool holder and air tables in the front and rear of the machine.
The handy tool holder contains all of the instruments needed for routine maintenance, such as tools for blade changes and service jobs. The air tables use a series of small air jets that form a cushion of air on their surfaces. These cushions reduce friction between the paper stack and table, which makes it easier to move and place the paper. In addition, the air cushions avert the risk of damaged edges or surfaces of the paper during positioning. This feature is important for sustaining the quality of sensitive or high-value paper stocks.
